Write the name of that charity on the space provided on your online student page when you register. If you want to know what kind of charities focus on this cause, please check our "frequently asked questions" section on the website: www.causefund.org/choose-a-cause. This station is all about mobility; think of activities that demonstrate how hard it is when you have limited mobility
Activity: Go find an old T shirt in your drawer and put it over your head but only put one arm in the sleeve. Leave the other arm inside inside the shirt against your belly. Now go sit on a chair and face another person.
That other person will gently throw a pair of socks to you and you need to try to catch it with one hand while sitting in the chair. If you succeed, the person you are playing with can take a turn. If you both can catch the pair of socks with one hand, try it by doing the same but now you put a big glove on the hand that is still available. If you are still able to do this, take away the use of other body parts so it becomes harder and harder to catch a simple pair of socks.
Awareness: It is much harder to complete simple tasks or to participate in normal life when you can't use certain body parts (or when you are in a wheelchair, like people who have ALS). Many people who have ALS are in a wheelchair and live with this problem every day.

Create a piece of art with any medium (that means you can use crayon, paint, pencil, newspaper, cereal or whatever you like! It can be a three-dimensional piece or a painting on a sheet. You can make it out of clay or straws and things you find around the house. The point is to create a piece of art using the colors Blue and White. It can be just about the sky and clouds or it can be much more complex! Be creative, think outside the box!
